Where to See Fireworks in Baltimore

The Fourth of July is almost here, and warm weather is here along with everything else that it brings with it. Whether you enjoy barbecues, time spent with family and friends, or just relaxing after a long week at work, almost everyone can find common ground in one enduring tradition: fireworks. Here are some great places to see fireworks if you’ll be in the Baltimore area this Independence Day.

Inner Harbor: Baltimore’s historic Inner Harbor is hosting a free, all-ages fireworks display on Friday at 9:30pm, with plenty of events beforehand. Starting at noon, you will be able to hear live bands, visit street vendors, and grab a bite to eat all day. The fireworks are launched over the harbor and you can see them from both downtown and elsewhere, in Federal Hill, Fell's Point, Canton and Rash Field.

Annapolis: Saturday at 9:15pm, at Annapolis City Dock.

Boyds/Germantown: Saturday at 9:30pm, at the Germantown Soccerplex.

College Park: Saturday at 9pm, at the University of Maryland.

Columbia: Saturday at 9:30pm, on Lake Kittamaquandi.

Gaithersburg: Saturday at 9:25pm, at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.

Greenbelt: Saturday at dusk, at Buddy Attick Park.

Kensington/Wheaton: Saturday at 9:15pm, at Newport Mill Middle School.

Laurel: Saturday at dusk, at Granville Gude Park.

National Harbor: Friday at sundown, at the Gaylord National Resort.

Poolesville: Saturday at 9pm, at the Poolesville Polo Grounds. Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Rockville: Saturday at 9:30pm at Montgomery College, Rockville Campus.

Takoma Park: Saturday at 9:30pm, at Takoma Park Middle School.
