Josh Turner Knew "Another Try" Was A Hit When He Heard It
Josh Turner says he had no doubt that the song "Another Try" would be a hit single. His only worry was how to make it better than the recording he first heard. Turner didn't have much of a challenge with the song after learning Trisha Yearwood agreed to join him on the duet. He says Trisha came in ready to work and open to suggestions, recognizing she was recording a song that was going to be on his CD. He adds that she was a real pro who, quote, "sang like an angel." Turner is taking a short performing break over the next several days. He'll return to the stage Saturday for a show in Varysburg, New York, and he'll be back in Nashville to play the Grand Ole Opry on July 8th.
