Guns And Roses "Chinese Democracy" Finally Gets Release Date
Guns 'N Roses fans will get an early Christmas present this year, as the band has finally set a release date for their long awaited album "Chinese Democracy." Billboard.com is reporting that the group's latest work will be released as a Best Buy exclusive, hitting shelves on Sunday, November 23rd. Tuesday has long been the traditional day for new music releases. However, with Best Buy's sales week running from Sunday to Saturday, the electronic super-store decided to drop the album on the Sunday.
Guns N' Roses fans can get an early preview of the album as the track "Shackler's Revenge" will be included in the video game "Rock Band 2." In addition, portions of the GNR song "If the World" will play during the credits of the new Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe film "Body of Lies," due out this weekend. October 28th is also set to be a big day for the band. Interscope will reissue GNR's debut album "Appetite for Destruction" on vinyl. |
