In 1978 Stiff Records launched its second tour featuring label artists Lene Lovich, Wreckless Eric, and Rachel Sweet. In 1981 The Police hit number one on the UK album chart with the album "Ghost in the Machine." It was the group's third chart topping LP. In 1986 Van Halen released the album "5150." In 1987 Whitesnake hit number one on the pop singles chart with "Here I Go Again." In 1992 Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash married model Renee Suran. R.E.M.'s album "Automatic For The People" hit number one on the UK album chart. The hit songs "Everybody Hurts," "Man on the Moon," and "Drive" are on the CD. In 2001 Guitarist Michael Ward announced that he was leaving the Wallflowers. U2 hosted a live Webcast of its concert at Notre Dame University. In 2003 Ben Folds participated in a fundraising concert for the Honor the Earth Foundation in Charlotte, North Carolina. In 2004 R.E.M.'s "Around the Sun" hit number one on the UK album chart. In 2005 Oasis, Gorillaz, U2, and Coldplay were among the big winners at the British "Q" Awards in London. New releases included The Eagles of Death Metal's DVD "DVD by Sexy." In 2007 Bon Jovi's Jon Bon Jovi was among the performers at the "All for the Hall" benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in New York City.<
