The Ting Tings Start Something New
The Ting Tings are leaving their mark on 2008, and hope to keep the momentum going into the new year. The duo tells "Teletext" that they expect to work on their next album in the near future. Drummer Jules De Martino says he envisions a similar process, in which the band takes three to four months to write new music. Singer Katie White says she's been picking up bass to help out on the new songs. She already plays guitar for the band. If all goes as planned, The Ting Tings could have a new release in the first half of 2009.
