Rascal Flatts Help Children's Hospital
Rascal Flatts are doing what they can to brighten the day of kids at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt University. CMT.com says the trio hosted a party last Thursday for the children at the facility and the kids' families. The event included a performance, featuring the hits "Fast Cars and Freedom" and "What Hurts the Most," and an appearance from Disney characters Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Cinderella, and Snow White. Afterwards, band members hit the halls, stopping by the rooms of kids who weren't able to come to the party. Rascal Flatts will continue its support for the hospital with an upcoming concert. The band's performance in Nashville on Friday is a benefit for the facility. The group has been an active champion of the hospital for the past few years, and since 2005 have raised more than two-point-two-million-dollars for the medical center. |
