Man Sues Jon Bon Jovi For $400 Billion Over Lyrics
Bon Jovi's singer is facing a hefty lawsuit. for 400-billion-dollars. TMZ.com is reporting that Samuel Bartley Steele, the frontman for the band the Chelsea City Council, claims Jon Bon Jovi stole the lyrics from a song his band wrote for the Boston Red Sox, entitled "(Man I Really) Love This Team." Steele says he believes the New Jersey rocker heard the lyrics when Bon Jovi was in Boston campaigning for one-time presidential candidate John Kerry in 2004. According to Steele, Bon Jovi went on to use the lyrics for the similarly titled "I Love This Town." A spokesman for Bon Jovi says they have yet to see the lawsuit.
