Rod Stewart Adds To Successful Fundraiser For Andre Agassi
Rod Stewart is helping Andre Agassi help kids. The classic rocker was among those who took part in the tennis star's annual Grand Slam for Children charitable fundraiser over the weekend. Other performers included Sheryl Crow, The Killers, Lifehouse, and Natasha Bedingfield, along with comedians Ray Romano and David Spade. Stewart featured in one of the show's highlights, when he and Crow teamed up for a duet on "The First Cut is the Deepest." Stewart topped the chart with the tune back in 1977, while Crow had a hit with it five years ago. Money raised through the event is going to the Andre Agassi Foundation, which uses the proceeds to help abused, underprivileged, and at-risk kids in the Las Vegas area. The 13th annual Grand Slam for Children took place at the Wynn in Las Vegas on Saturday. |
