Oasis Continues Digging
Oasis is just getting "Dig Out Your Soul" to the people, but the band won't be hurting for material when they prepare for their next effort. Noel Gallagher tells XFM that the group's follow-up release has already been written and produced as a demo. The guitarist says the band utilized a kids' drum kit while laying down the initial ideas for the songs. Gallagher calls the material "sickeningly good" and likens it to Neil Young's "Greendale" in that it has a full concept with characters and song titles built around them. The guitarist says producer Dave Sardy was urging him to record the material as soon as possible.
