New Found Glory Prepare To "Fight"
New Found Glory is polishing off their next album after recently inking a deal with Epitaph Records. Drummer Cyrus Bolooki tells frontandcenterrock.com that the group has settled on "Not Without A Fight" as the album's title, and they're tentatively eyeing a February 2009 release. According to the drummer, the new songs have more of an edge and a faster tempo than their last full length effort, "Coming Home," but are not as hardcore-sounding as their recent EP. As for the title, Bolooki says it comes from the band's current state of mind, feeling like a renewed act and having confidence that they can continue despite having been around long enough to play with bands that grew up on their music. The band expects to return to the road next spring after the release of the new disc. |
