Ringo Putting An End To Fan Mail
Ringo Starr says he's finished with fan mail. In a video message on his website he gives fans a deadline of October 20th to drop him a line. The former Beatle explains somewhat tersely that he doesn't have the time to respond. The rock legend adds that if he receives anything that's postmarked after October 20th, quote, "it's gonna be tossed." Ringo doesn't offer details on what has him so busy that he can no longer correspond with fans, or how he came up with next Monday as a deadline.
