"HSM's" Zac Efron Not Replacing Daniel Radcliffe In "Equus"
"High School Musical" heartthrob Zac Efron will not be joining the Broadway cast of "Equus" to replace "Harry Potter's" Daniel Radcliffe anytime soon. There is another role, however, he has his sights set on. According to "People" magazine, 20-year-old Efron says he has no plans to move from the musical scene to a drama genre just yet. Despite previous reports, Efron stresses he has no intention of replacing Radcliffe and has not been approached about it. Another musical possibly in the works for Efron is "Footloose," the 80s classic flick starring Kevin Bacon. "HSM" director Kenny Ortega says the musical is in heavy development right now and he would love nothing more than to do another project with Efron. "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" hits the big screen October 24th. |
