State Radio Leaving Their Mark On The Nation
State Radio is hitting the road and leaving their mark along the way.? The band is currently out on the "Take The Country Back" tour, where they are attempting to make a difference at each of the stops.? During a recent stop in Gainesville, the band dropped in on the Barack Obama campaign headquarters and volunteered some of their time.? Earlier this week in Athens, Georgia, the band teamed with Amnesty International to protest the pending execution of Troy Davis. Singer Chad Stokes Urmston penned and performed a song specifically for the occasion which will appear on their next album.? To learn more about Davis' case, visit www.troyanthonydavis.org.? Today in Carrboro, North Carolina, they will be bringing non-partisan voter registration to rest homes in the area.? The band will be in Hartford this Friday and they are encouraging fans to join them at a protest outside Sen. Joe Lieberman's office to voice their displeasure with his support of the war in Iraq.?
