The Academy Is....Gets Their Guy
The Academy Is.... is finding much happier times with "Fast Times At Barrington High," and singer William Beckett credits a lot of that to guitarist Michael Guy Chislett.? Beckett has previously stated that the "Santi" album had a darker tone to it due to the upheaval going on at the time of its recording. Part of the turmoil came from making the switch to Chislett after work had already started on material.? The singer says the guitarist was heavily involved on the new album and Beckett credits him for really shaping how the music sounds.? The more upbeat "Fast Times At Barrington High" is in stores now.
