Swift Not The Only One Excited About Her "CMT Crossroads"
Taylor Swift says she was thrilled to tape an episode of "CMT Crossroads" with Def Leppard, calling the experience "awesome" and "the coolest thing." But the singer notes that her mom was even more excited about the show. Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott returns the compliments, saying it was, quote, "an absolute pleasure" to work with Taylor and her band. The veteran British rocker adds that he thinks he and Swift sound good together, and that everyone -- including the crowd -- enjoyed the performance. The CMT series pairs country stars with artists of different genres to highlight their common influences and see where their musical roads cross. Swift and Def Leppard took the stage in Nashville last week for their "CMT Crossroads" taping, treating the audience to such hits as Def Leppard's "Photograph" and "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and Swift's "Love Story" and "Picture to Burn." Their episode is scheduled to make its debut on CMT on November 7th.
