Jonas Brothers, New Kids To Perform For 2008 American Music Awards
It'll be a battle of the boy bands of sorts when newcomers the Jonas Brothers and comeback band New Kids On The Block take the stage at the 2008 American Music Awards. "Jo-Bro" and New Kids are among the first confirmed artists to perform at the ceremony next month, along with Pink. AMA nominations were announced Tuesday with R&B star Alicia Keys leading this year's nominees with five nods, including Artist of the Year. British pop-rockers Coldplay are close behind with four nominations. The Jonas Brothers are also up for an AMA honor, having been nominated in the "T-Mobile Breakthough Artist category. Late night funnyman Jimmy Kimmel will host this year's ceremony. The 36th Annual American Music Awards will take place November 23rd. ABC will air the event live from Los Angeles' Nokia Theater.
