Paramore Tops Woodie Awards
Paramore is the winner of the annual mtvU Woodie Awards' top prize, The Woodie Of The Year. The event, which celebrates the best in college supported music, dished out a number of trophies Wednesday night. Motion City Soundtrack won the Video Of The Year Woodie for their "It Had To Be You" clip, and Atmosphere won the Performance Woodie. Other winners included Chromeo, Jack's Mannequin, There For Tomorrow, and Bride Wore Black. The show also featured musical guests Cool Kids, Lykke Li with Q-Tip, All Time Low, Santogold's Santi, and Vampire Weekend. |
