Joe Nichols Being Honored In Arkansas
Joe Nichols is being honored by his home state. He's among the new inductees into the Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame. The singer, who hails from Rogers, Arkansas, is being included in the Hall's Class of 2008, along with the late country duo the Wilburn Brothers, rock pioneer Ronnie Hawkins, the late blues great Sonny Boy Williamson, trumpeter Wayne Jackson, actress Tess Harper, and TV executive Ed Wilson. The Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame Class of 2008 induction ceremony, including a reception for honorees, will take place in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Saturday night. With the induction Nichols is joining Johnny Cash, the Browns, Brooks & Dunn's Ronnie Dunn, and Glen Campbell as a member of the Arkansas Hall. |
