ABC To Debut New The Fray Single
The Fray is developing a strong relationship with ABC. Billboard.com is reporting that the network has agreed to debut the band's new single, "You Found Me," on November 20th during a "Grey's Anatomy" commercial break. The track will be used for a one-minute promo for the upcoming season of the show "Lost." Viewers will be directed to abc.com, where they can listen to a three-minute version of the song. The website will also provide a link to iTunes, where fans can buy the song when it goes on sale on the 21st. The band's agreement with ABC will also include appearances on the American Music Awards, "Good Morning America," and the outdoor concert series on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Discussions are also underway for ESPN to use The Fray's music during football season. Epic executive vice-president of marketing Lee Stimmel spoke about the deal, saying, quote, "Because this band appeals to everyone from 8 to 80, television really does play a great role in exposing the music to a wider audience." |
