In 1967 The band The Feathers, led by David Bowie, made its debut at The Country Club in Hampstead, England. In 1987 During a U2 concert in Los Angeles, frontman Bono pulled an audience member onto the stage to sing "People Get Ready." The Kiss album "Crazy Nights" and Billy Idol's album "Vital Idol" were certified Gold. In 1994 Bon Jovi's album "New Jersey" was certified multi-Platinum. In 1997 Metallica released the album "Reload." In 1998 Tori Amos released a compilation of her videos titled "Tori Amos: The Complete Collection: 1992-1998." In 2001 Creed was the musical guest on NBC's "Saturday Night Live." In 2006 Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson filed for divorce from wife Kate Hudson, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had announced three months earlier that they were splitting up. The two had been married for nearly six years. U2's Bono and Pearl Jam teamed up for a surprise performance in conjunction with the Melbourne G20 summit in Australia. The Sugarcubes played a reunion show in their home country of Iceland to mark the 20th anniversary of the release of "Birthday," the group's first single.<
