Nine Inch Nails Nail Down New Drummer
Nine Inch Nails will say farewell to drummer Josh Freese after their current touring, but his spot is no longer vacant in the band. Trent Reznor says in a post that the group has now found his replacement in rising skinbeater Ilan Rubin. He notes in a brief message that he's proud and excited to name the Lostprophets drummer to his lineup. Reznor explains that he was able to see Rubin perform at the UK's Reading and Leeds festivals a couple summer's ago, and notes the drummer "blew me away." Reznor adds that he recently invited Rubin to a rehearsal, and after that he's convinced he's found, quote, "the perfect guy to pick up the sticks after Josh leaves us at the end of the year."
