Get Up Kids Get Back Together
The Get Up Kids have a show under their belt, so what's next? Singer-guitarist Matt Pryor said after their Kansas City performance, quote, "We all had a really good time playing together this weekend and really, that's the most important part for me. We decided to play the Record Bar show as a test to see if we wanted to play together next year for the anniversary of the record. It was supposed to be a secret...that didn't work out." While all appears to be positive from the Sunday show, there is no firm announcement of further touring in 2009 as of yet. The band will be promoting a tenth anniversary re-release of their biggest record, "Something To Write Home About," next year. The Sunday show found The Get Up Kids playing the disc in its entirety for those in attendance.
