Taylor Swift Mum About CMT Music Awards Appearance With T-Pain
Taylor Swift's participation in tonight's 2009 CMT Music Awards is linking her with artists not typically associated with country music. The teen singer is slated to perform with Def Leppard, and she'll also be doing something with hip-hop vocalist T-Pain. But Swift won't divulge just what viewers will see when she takes the stage with the hitmaker. Swift is expected to join Def Leppard for a song. Their collaborative rendition of the British band's hit "Photograph," from their episode last fall of the CMT series "CMT Crossroads," is in the running in two categories -- Wide Open Country and CMT Performance of the Year. The clip accounts for two of Swift's four nominations heading into the event. Her other bids are for Female Video of the Year and the top prize of Video of the Year with her hit "Love Story." The 2009 CMT Music Awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Sommet Center in Nashville, airing on CMT tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
