Alan Jackson Misses Out On "Chicken Fried"
Could you imagine Alan Jackson singing "Chicken Fried?" The singer notes the Zac Brown Band's breakthrough hit could have been his. He says producer Keith Stegall pitched the song to him, but he turned it down.
While Jackson admits that he perhaps should have taken the song, he doesn't regret passing it up. The 20-year veteran says he likes Zac Brown and his band, and he's happy for the group for what the song has done for them. |
