Tim McGraw Ready With Second Children's Book
Tim McGraw has a new children's book on the way. "Country Weekly" says the singer has once again tapped the talents of Tom Douglas to write "Love Your Heart," a sequel of sorts to his first literary effort, 2008's "My Little Girl." That book's main character, Katie, is back, and this time is faced with a dilemma. As she's preparing to take part in her school's talent show, she learns that a friend needs her help. Katie must decide where to turn her attention, and in the process learns a valuable life lesson. "Love Your Heart" is scheduled to arrive in stores on February 16th.
McGraw's first title, "My Little Girl," teaches kids the importance of spending time with loved ones through a story about a father who sets out to spend the day with his daughter and their dog. It was based on the song of the same name, which Tim co-wrote with Douglas for the movie "Flicka." |
